Excellent value toy

This is my 2nd syma quadcopter and I am very happy that I upgraded. This one is very easy to control. I was doing flips within my 1st 3-4 minutes of flying. I replaced the syma x1 I owned with this one and I could not be happier with the upgrade. The remote is almost exactly the same, which is ok because it is a simple remote to use. Mine came with a extra battery, which was loose in the packing so be careful not to discard (I almost did!).
Anyway, this is a awesome toy for the price. I am sure they are giving the more expensive models a run for their money! Great job Syma.
*UPDATE* One of the small plastic gears lost teeth. Not sure why this happened... Maybe the motors are too strong for the gears? I looked for replacement parts because I wanted to keep it, but I could not find any so I will return for refund.

I'm bummed!

I have 2 v262's so I was excited and looking forward to this good looking competitor! The looks we're not disappointing and the extra battery is a good idea. Though I agree to pack it in the box better so it doesn't bang around loosely. Anyway, I read everything, got the battery charged up, the TX had new batts. And I was good to go. All indications was that everything was a go as the lights were steady and the sound was right on so I hit the stick and nothing. I redid everything and nothing. I did this over and over, read and reread the instructions about low power etc..Everything was right, but nothing happened. The two lights are neat. The graphics are great and the design is good, but it's gotta fly for me. I'm sure it's a fluke, and flukes do happen! I Got some feed back from some friends and flyers to no avail. Again, I think we thought of everything. Maybe I'll give try it again at another time down the road! I also got the lights for it. Now those have to wait. I might try it again later when it gets some more reviews either good, bad or indifferent, and it has been around awhile. At least it looks good, but sorry, looks don't fly it! I sent it back and I'm bummed! So you'll who buy this, be sure to give it an honest review for others who have questions about its integrity and we'll see what happens! That's what's so good about this review system. Thanks!
"UPDATE" Like I said, I sent it back and I just want to say how easy it was to do! I followed Amazon's "easy" directions and had it ready to go late on a Friday night and Mid morning, UPS was at my door with a packing label ready to pick it up and it was on its way. Amazon helped step by step and I could track it all the way back to the seller and then they let me know it arrived without a problem. A few days later, BINGO, I got my refund to my account! EASY PEEZY! I could have exchanged it, but as I said, I'll just wait in due time for some other reviewers to weigh in and decide later. Meanwhile, the V262's in a class by itself!
