Cakes Update

Salam bloggers... it's been soo long since my last posting again.. quite busy cooking at my new opening cafe at FB.. and my farm too.. hehehe..

Well.. am still baking at my real kitchen, and my real oven.. here some cakes I baked recently..

My Lil' Wani's 1st Birthday

Salam.. salam... selamat hari raya...

Hehehe.. punya soo.... loongg... since my last posting... Just wanna share you some cakes... from my little Wani's first birthday celebrated a couple of months ago.. on 3rd August.

We celcebrated the birthday 1 day earlier on Aug 2nd, Sunday at McDonalds Api-Api Centre. I managed to bake a moist chocolate cake with Winnie the Pooh theme.

In addition, some cuppies with same theme...


Then, on Monday morning, Aug 3rd, I sent this cake to Taska Permaisuria, for Wani to cut and celebrate with her friends..

Later on that afternoon, we, my hubby and Wani went to Hjh Kusnah home, an Aunt at Likas. We bring this cake for her daughter Ika, 8, who shared same birthday date with Wani.

So, that were the cakes I baked on Wani's birthday. In fact, they were just moist chocolate with simple decoration, but, the feeling the matter hehe... for my Wani 1st birthday... hehe..

Danial's Birthday and Puchee the cat...

Salam...

I received an email from Hasalinda @ Noy request for a cake with cat figurine made from fondant. Noy is actually twin sister to Rosalinda @ Linda, that I baked a cake with Little Pony figurine for her daughter a couple of month ago.

Noy is going to celebrate her son, Danial's 10th birthday and wanted to have his Puchee cat figurine on top of the cake. Noy also sent me this pictures for my reference.

...yes... that's Puchee, Danial's cat...

I have to admit that it wasn't easy for me to imitate Puchee, I tried my best to do as similar as I can, but the result turns to different look of Puchee.... :<

Cakes Update...

Salam... Hi there...

It has been a month since my last posting... Let me check what cakes I have in my folder... Uhmm... Ni kalau real cakes, memang 'bangas' already ni... punya lama sudah!

Aniversary cake for Ruby from Tebobon on 19th July ... A 1-kg chocolate moist cake covered with fondant decoration. Happy belated Wedding Anniversary ya Ruby... 18 years... Emm... Boleh tahan.... I am sure you had a lots of love ... Semoga berbahagia selalu...

This one pula, especially made for my sister, Ucu, on her birthday on July 17th. A box of 6-pieces chocolate moist cuppies.


Another chocolate moist cake, ordered by my sister, Rin for her son's birthday...Arwin..


Lastly... a 2-kg Blueberry Cheesecake ordered by Kak Aishah, for her son's birthday...

We (Hubby, Wani and I) have spent recent weekend at hubby's Kampung Pimping Membakut, and we went to tamu on Sunday, and yam is one of the goodies I bought from that tamu...

It's a long time no bake and no eat cake... hehehe... cam terliurlah pulak...

Yummm... sedap jugalah konon... pada perasaanku yang perasan ni... Yummm... hehehe...

Allysa 7th Bday: My Little Pony and Disney's Princesses Cake

Welcome to Saiyaz's Cakes Collection...

These cakes with theme "Unicorn / My LIttle Pony" and "Disney's Princesses" are newly added to my collection. Just baked them last nite for Linda's dotter Allysa 7th birthday today, June 24.

She ordered 2 types of cake, one is a 3-kg chocolate moist with Disney's Princesses edible / icing image to be cut at the school. Another one is a kg vanilla sponge cake with fresh cream and decorated with unicorn, the little pony made of fondant. The second one is to be cut at home.

My memory flashed back, a year ago, same date , Linda ordered me these cakes and cuppies... ice cream cone sponge cake, chocolate moist with Barbie image and some character cupppies... for Allysa 6th birthday...

This morning, I met Linda for second time when I delivered the cakes to her house at Sempelang, Sembulan. Thanks Linda for your repeat order... till we meet again.. same time next year?... Hehehe... InsyaAllah... klu ku masih meniaga kueh ni.... hehehe...

Father's Day Cakes and Cupcakes

Assalammualaikum and Salam Sejahtera...

First of all, I would like to wish “Happy Father’s Day” to all fathers out there, in conjunction to Father’s Day celebrated on Sunday, June 21st.

Secondly, I would like to share with you the cakes and cupcakes that I baked on that special day….

60 pieces cupcakes ordered by Ruby from Tebobon. They are butter cupcakes with orange and chocolate flavor.

She also ordered 1.5kg of carrot cheese cake. The cake is carrot cake with walnut, and the frosting and decoration made of cream cheese. Thanks Ruby...

Furthermore, we had a kenduri tahlil for my late father so I baked some cuppies and a carrot cheese cake for that ceremony.

What's more, on Sunday night, we (my niece Idah and I) have decorated another carrot cheese cake just for makan-makan. Idah stayed with us on that weekend, to accompany me and my baby Wani, since hubby had to work overtime since last week.

Last but not least, once more, Happy Father’s Day… Happy Dad’s Day… Selamat Hari Bapa…

Baby Full Moon

Salam...

There was a majlis cukur rambut for my cousin’s newborn baby, last Sunday. So I baked some cupcakes for that majlis.

I only managed to decorate less than 40 pieces...

and they are actually not enough to give to all guests.

Anyway, I really hope Nurlizah like them all... my gift for her on her first baby, Nurizah Athirah... Tahniah dik...

A Busy Weekend

Assalammualaikum...

It was a busy week I had last weekend. In fact, it was Umie's wedding, a cousin of my hubby. I had promised her mother to bake some carrot cheese cakes for that wedding. Luckily, one of hubby’s nieces, Idah, was very kind to stay at my home so she can help me at the kitchen and look after my baby Wani.

On Friday night, we managed to bake about 4 kg of carrot cheese plus 3 kilogram of moist chocolate cakes.

While on Saturday night, I baked another 2 chocolate moist cakes (unfortunately, Idah had to stay at the bride’s house). I only do the baking not the decoration.

Idah told me before that she really wanted to learn decorate cake using fondant. So, that was our activity after the wedding that Sunday’s afternoon. I let Idah to do the decoration on her own, and I only teach and show a little coz I still need to look after my baby Wani. The result was not bad, even though she used so much fondant, so the cover and frill were quite thick. (isshh... sayang my fondant... hehehe... )

Lastly, on Sunday night, I decorate another chocolate cake. This one ordered by Ekie, for opening ceremony of her friend’s Tupperware new shop at Alamesra.

Opps.. one more thing, I would like to wish the bride, Umie, and her husband Saiful, Selamat Pengantin Baru. Semoga berbahagia sepanjang hayat, Amin…

Naruto and Spiderman Cakes

Salam...

Have baked both of the chocolate cakes last week. One Naruto and one Spiderman. Both for my best friends.

Naruto cake ordered by Fordiah @ Didie, my bestfriend since kindergarten (yes... until now...) The cake was for her sons' birthday, Hairee and Nazrul.

While Spiderman cake ordered by Norliza @ Ekie, a best friend from ITM (now UiTM). The cake for her dotter and son's birthday, Asnor Nasha and Asnoriman Danish.

Well, friends... Cam biasalah... Thank you for ordering k...

(P.s 1 Didie, kalau jadi mo order cheesecake tu, kasi confirm dulu date ya, nanti nda tebuat karang..
