2,500 tons of awesome

While the quote is about a specific Kaiju and these don't weigh as much, they are just still so much of awesome. Very well sculpted and go so well with the rest of the Jaegers. As well as Coyote's cannons move and Cherno's fists extend, just plain awesome.

Great pair for a great price!

This is an amazing pair of Jaegers! They're probably my favorites. They are both very detailed even down to the small decals on Cherno. The paint jobs are exquisite and really convey a worn or distressed metal look given by a machine. The articulation is amazing as well as amazingly hidden and practical, as they are meant to mimic the actual ILM models. They even smell slightly like some kind of mechanic's oil. I'm not sure if this is the smell of the plastic or maybe they absorbed some of the smell of the factory where they were constructed, either way it adds a nice touch, intentional or not.
Coyote Tango did give me a bit of trouble getting it to stand correctly, but I eventually found it's balance points, and now it stands just right.
I've seen reviews on other Jaeger figures, where uninformed parents think that they are meant to be super durable toys for their children, only to have parts fall off. Now, although they should be able to withstand some light play, I'd advise against it as figures akin to this kind of caliber, are really meant for display only. This is why they don't shoot "missiles," have detachable parts or have "kung fu grip." THEY AREN'T MEANT TO! So if you're looking for something your kid can play with full force, I'd go with something else.
Anyone who's a fan of these Jaegers or even Pacific Rim, I urge you to get them while they're both still sold together, available and at such a comparatively low price tag.
